St Paul’s Church at the Heart of Our School
St Paul’s Church is at the heart of our school community and plays a deeply valued part in the faith and life of our school. Our close relationship with the church gives pupils, families, staff and members of the wider community regular opportunities to come together in worship, celebration and reflection. The church provides a special and welcoming space in which our children can deepen their understanding of Christian faith, experience a sense of belonging and recognise that they are part of a community beyond the school gates.
Throughout the year, many important moments in our school calendar are celebrated at St Paul’s Church. Our Carol and Christingle services bring the school community together during Advent and Christmas, while our Harvest Festival encourages gratitude and generosity. At Easter, we gather to reflect on the central message of the Christian faith. At the end of the school year, our Leavers’ Service gives Year 6 pupils, their families and staff a meaningful opportunity to celebrate their time at St Paul’s, give thanks and look ahead to the next stage of their journey.
Every Monday, either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 takes part in worship in church. These services are deliberately and purposefully planned in partnership by members of the clergy and our Worship Lead, ensuring that worship is inclusive, engaging and closely connected to our Christian vision and values. Through prayer, Bible stories, music, reflection and opportunities to respond, pupils develop their spirituality and consider how Christian teachings can guide their choices, relationships and actions. Our relationship with St Paul’s Church is much more than a programme

Our Church Wardens
In Church, we act as characters from the bible and we also read scriptures to the congregation during our weekly church service assembly.
Before children and adults enter the church, we stand outside to meet and greet them with a friendly smile. At the end of the worship, we say goodbye and farewell.
On Mondays, we arrive at church earlier so that we can prepare for the service. One of our most important roles as Church Wardens, is to teach others about God and the Bible.
